Delete Your Account

FindRoomy — Account & data deletion

FindRoomy respects your right to control your data. You can request the deletion of your FindRoomy account and associated data at any time using the steps below. This page applies to the FindRoomy mobile application available on the App Store and Google Play.

1. Delete From Inside the App (Recommended)

Open the FindRoomy app and log in to your account.
Go to the Profile tab.
Tap Settings, then Delete Account.
Confirm your decision when prompted.
Your account will be permanently deleted within 30 days.

2. Delete By Email Request

If you cannot access the app, send a deletion request to:

support@findroomy.com

Please include in your message:

Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
The email address registered to your FindRoomy account
The full name on your account (for verification)

We will process your request within 7 business days and confirm by email once your data has been deleted.

3. What Data Is Deleted

The following data is permanently removed from our systems:

Profile information (name, photo, age, bio)
Lifestyle, personality, and professional preferences
Location and city information
Match requests sent and received
Chat messages and conversation history
Account credentials and authentication tokens

4. What Data Is Retained

For legal, security, and fraud-prevention purposes, we may retain limited information for up to 90 days after deletion:

Anonymized usage logs
Records required by applicable law
Reports of abuse, harassment, or policy violations

After this retention period, all retained data is permanently removed from our systems.

5. Request Data Deletion Without Closing Your Account

If you would like to remove specific data without deleting your entire account, email us at support@findroomy.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and describe which data you would like removed. We will respond within 7 business days.
